- For clients
Homecare helps people to live independently in their own home with a good quality of life.
Our homecare (also known as 'domiciliary care') services assist people with areas of their daily life that they find difficult. This may be as a result of:
- Getting older
- A crisis in their life
The wishes of each individual client are central to what we do. We respect people’s needs and preferences and we seek to offer choices about how these could be met. Our care team work with each client to develop their support plan, to improve their quality of life and ensure they get the best from their care.
The plan we develop will be designed to support a client’s independence and enable them to live a safe and fulfilling life in their own home and community. Support is offered in many areas, including:
- Getting up and going to bed
- Taking prescribed medicines
- Meal preparation
- Light housework eg cleaning, tidying, ironing etc
- Involvement in the community
- Companionship and emotional support
- Personal care, eg washing, dressing, using the toilet
We provide a responsive service that offers flexibility and can be changed according to the needs of our clients.
If a client’s plan also includes some support to go out and about or attend medical appointments, this will be under our supported living services.
We pride ourselves on continuity of care whenever possible. If it is the client’s choice too, our aim is that clients will see the same carers regularly, so that trust and understanding can grow. Our staff have the necessary training in the care we deliver. They are chosen for their ability to understand people and for their professionalism and passion in delivering high-quality care.
We provide homecare in West Sussex (including Crawley), Epsom and Ewell, Mole Valley, Reigate and Banstead, Spelthorne and Tandridge. If you are looking for care services for yourself, for a relative or friend, or a client, please contact us to discuss your needs.
